Introduction
Sometimes it is very difficult to understand other people and even ourselves. This will lead to ineffective communication with colleagues, friends, and family members. That is why many teams or families are not successful when they try to work or live together.
MeWe assesses people’s personality styles and identifies effective communication strategies for players. Players will better understand individuals they are interacting with and create powerful communication. As a result, the workplace or family will be a joyful place for people.
Instructions
- The card deck contains 52 cards which describe people’s personality traits. Players are required to read all cards and choose 13 cards. Then they must narrow down those 13 cards to 7 cards within 6 minutes. They will be required to flip the 7 cards over and look at the pictures of animals on the other side. They will see what kind of animal they are from the animal represented most on the selected cards.
- A game facilitator will group people having the same kind of predominant animal together. They have 5 minutes to discuss their personalities as indicated by the animal most frequently chosen among their group members and come up with ideas for how others can work with them effectively, as listed in the table below.

… - A representative from each group then presents the table to all players. The facilitator should then point out that all kinds of people might have to comprise and work together for collaboration to happen.
Note: It might happen that some players may have mixed animals, for example, 2 cards of a bear, 2 cards of a mouse, 2 cards of an eagle, and a card of a bull. These players should be grouped together
The four Animal personalities
The bull – A hunter
“Just do it!” is a catchphrase of people of the bull sign. They do not think carefully when they want to finish their tasks. They like taking risks and challenging their competency. They speak fast and loud. They always speak their mind. They sometimes are too straightforward. That could hurt other people’s feeling. They dare to fight for their own rights. They are ready to confront all forms of conflict. Bull people focus on results. They fight for their dreams and success. They aim for positions of high rank.
The mouse – A peacemaker
Mice people are sweet, friendly, kind, and calm. They think about other people before themselves. They value collaboration and teamwork.
They try to avoid conflict and confrontation. They do not want to have any problem with anyone. Peace is what they love to make and have for their life. They will feel uncomfortable if they are under pressure. They have high levels of tolerance and compromise. They are sometimes slow to talk because they think carefully before speaking out.
The bear – A thinker
A bear likes to think and think. People with the bear sign will need a ton of information to support their decision making. This causes them to be slow to say yes or no. They are detail oriented.
Everything for bear people must be reasonable and supported by evidence. They focus on systems, structures, procedures, and instructions. The dreams of a bear personality are accuracy in planning and perfect life. They do not want to make mistakes in their lives. It is hard to predict their emotions because they do not like showing their feelings.
The eagle – A star
The outstanding characteristic of this enthusiastic personality is the smile. Eagle people like having fun.
They can make juicy and exciting conversation, with a sense of humour and love to tell funny stories. They have many ideas and a lot of imagination. They love options and choices.
Eagles enjoy travelling and trying something new. They need entertainment. They dream of having a happy life and making people around them happy. They expect attention from other people. They show emotions and feelings openly and vividly.
